Brief History:

This is essentially a new property.  The Inn is totally renovated from the ground up.  The owners were not intending to run the property. Their deal with the management company of the Hermitage Resort went sour when the Resort went into receivership.  Hermitage Resort has since come back with new owners.  The Hermitage Owners are finishing the vision of establishing a viable, luxurious resort destination in Southern Vermont.

New owners of the Vermont House Inn will have a new lodging operation just over a year old… a clean slate.  A classic building, a great location, with a growing clientele.  This is an opportunity for a buyer who has marketing vision, commitment long term and experience to network.   There are many attractions and events year round.    This is the Deerfield Valley.  Ski mountains, golf courses, wineries, lakes for boating, kayaking & swimming, abound in this Southern Vermont destination.    Add the fact that major markets such as Boston, Hartford and NYC are just hours away, this is a marketer’s dream.

The Inn:

10 Guest Rooms plus a Two bedroom Suite; all with private baths

Popular wine bar and backyard patio – two popular guest features

Located in the center of Wilmington, the Vermont House Inn has shops, restaurants and the river within walking distance of its guests.  Attractions for both winter and summer guests are throughout this Deerfield Valley.  This provides an opportunity for a  steady stream of cash flow as you grow your markets.
