Since 2003, the current innkeepers have lovingly transformed this spectacular 1797 Hyde Park home into a thriving Bed and Breakfast. There are four rooms and two guest suites, each with private bathrooms. The inn attracts a loyal clientele. Guests include parents and visitors to nearby Northern Vermont State College and tourists who love Stowe and its environs.
Throughout the inn, there is hand crafted furniture made by the innkeeper in the wood working shop located in the garage building. Set in a residential neighborhood just outside of Hyde Park, twenty minutes from Stowe, the inn is peaceful and enjoys beautiful views. The wooded backyard is full of birds and tranquility. Built in cabinetry in the kitchen, beverage area, and guest suites is beautiful and impressively hand crafted by the innkeeper.
The inn is immaculate and beautifully maintained. The business generates a reliable and strong income because the inn is welcoming, well organized, nicely appointed, and comfortable. Guest needs have been well attended to. Each room has individually controlled heat, t/v’s, ironing board, robes, and window air conditioning units.
The historic nature of the property is the icing on the cake.
